We keep coming back to BNC (5 yrs) because we’re part of the family. The talented and experienced BNC staff can keep my 7 yr old ballerina focused and my 49 year old body in shape. They really have something to offer everyone. We also LOVE the professional company and see every show. You can feel their synergy when they dance. They are all beautiful and excellent role models for our children.

As an older dancer who still loves to dance and take ballet class, I have found the perfect teachers at BNC, especially Julia Manley and Sean Watson. You "dance" in their adult beginning and intermediate ballet classes, regardless of your level of training. Although we work on classical technique, they always emphasize having a positive experience. The class environment is friendly, and supportive, especially when you can't do some step or fall over. I am always eager to go to class because I enjoy dancing and feel so happy afterwards. Julia and Sean, Thank you for putting joy back in dance for me.

BNC is an entirely different kind of dance experience in the metropolitan area. There are plenty of schools and classes to choose from. But only at BNC can my child be exposed to a very high level of professionalism and have a chance to dance alongside a student company and a professional company. To live in Broomfield and have this kind of exposure is exceptional and something we truly value.

The dance education she receives at BNC is a cut above - the quality/creativity of the faculty, the excellent instruction, the professionally done productions, the wonderful performing opportunities and the respect for arts in the community, through outreaches, is truly inspiring. We always knew our daughter wanted to dance, but when we saw her face on stage at her first Gala we realized she had found her passion! Ballet teaches dancers to be beautiful in their movements on the outside, in finding something that she is passionate about my daughter has found a new way to let her inner beauty shine as well! My 13 -year -old daughter has been dancing at BNC for 8 years. We keep coming back year after year, when we know there are many other schools in this area to choose from. We love how personally invested Julia (the school director) and the other teachers are in the growth of each dancer, the sense of community among the families and staff, and the many opportunities the kids have to perform interesting, challenging choreography. Perhaps what is most exciting for my young dancer is how involved the incredible professional company is in the school and vice versa. One day she is taking class from her teacher, and the next she is watching him or her perform in one of Garrett Ammon’s breathtaking ballets. Then, of course, in Nutcracker students dance alongside the professionals! It is so inspirational.
